Introduction

FocusArena ("we", "our", "the app") is a competitive focus timer application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Username and anonymous user identifier. If you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and optionally your email address.
• Usage Data: Focus session statistics including session duration, survival status, elimination count, streaks, XP, and leaderboard rankings.
• Friend Data: Friend connections and friend codes.
• Waitlist Email: If you sign up for our beta waitlist via the website, we collect your email address.

We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or personal device information.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain your account
• Track focus session statistics and progress
• Display leaderboard rankings
• Enable social features (friends, friend codes)

Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and cloud functions. See Firebase's Privacy Policy at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on Google Firebase servers. All transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.

Data Retention

Data is retained while your account is active. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data from our servers.

Children's Privacy

FocusArena is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your Rights

• View your data within the app
• Change your username at any time
• Delete your account and all data from Settings
